AUTOEXE Motion Control Beam Front and Rear for Mazda RX8 (Series 2, 2009-2012)
Night and day difference, even on a bone stock suspension. While installing the AutoExe front strut bar greatly enhanced steering response and turn in, the handling improvements from it was very subtle. Likewise with the AutoExe tie bars installed in the front and back of the car. More solid feel, less suspension parts deflection under cornering loads. These Motion Control Beams took away the vibrations that are slightly felt in the steering wheel from small road surface imperfections. It also took away the bumps felt from pavement gaps and mostly the rumble felt from railway crossings and brick roads. Going through small pot holes and road patches, the stock suspension is finally doing its job to dampen away those bumps and doesn't get fully transmitted throughout the entire car. Big bumps, you don't hear a loud hollow "thump" emanating from the back of the car. Just a solid "thud". The car used to understeer and now it hardly does. It handles quite neutral now, even on bone stock open differential, and did I already say bone stock suspension? This is win win, all around, without sacrificing anything.

Happy 8's day people! For you series 2 owners, here's the easiest way I found to change these little suckers. RX8 Upgrades providing the genuine goods as always. Remove the air box/ CAI, remove throttle body and remove the top part of the UIM only, this will get you easy access to the solenoids. Now you could remove them from this point, but removing the oil filler neck along with the vacuum chamber the solenoids mount to makes it FAR easier to change them. This whole job can be done in an afternoon for a mechanically minded person. On reassemble, don't forget to place the vacuum reference back onto the bottom of the manifold (has a green check valve) otherwise no valve will work. Reassemble and enjoy. HKS Hi-Power Cat-Back Exhaust with Titanium Tip for Mazda RX8 (Series 1 & 2, 2003-2012)
I have the HKS Hi power, absolutely love it. It's much lighter than stock. Got a nice low tone at idle, reasonably quiet at 3.5k rpm around town and doesn't drone much on the highway. It's absolutely ignorant when you get to the redline with a satisfying "Pop POP" between gear changes. Has a unique sort of burble when the RPM's are coming back down.. You will love it too:)
Yes, I believe that's revision C. Racing Beat is a good store for Mazda's, I'd trust them when they say it's the real OEM coilset.

I had the hks hi power with ap midpipe and it was loud as hell but i loved it until i started getting pulled over all the time for it. You just have to keep the rpms down around the cops.
