You won't have any issues with the airbag or electronics. Make sure you get the right wheel--I bought my S2 wheel from MazMart. I installed mine just the other week, and I love the feel. It was a huge upgrade from stock.
I recently installed AutoExe's Sport Steering Wheel on my ND. Taking my time and watching the various video's a few times, it took me a little over an hour, with no real issues, to install the new wheel. I couldn't be much happier with it. The wheel is extremely well made, at least as nice as OEM, with red stitching that matches my SRC paint nicely. It's a tiny bit smaller in diameter than stock, but much thicker, with a mild D shape for additional leg room. For those considering an improved steering wheel, this is a fabulous option in my opinion, particularly if you have red car.
The entire process was seamless and the wheel itself is phenomenal. I really don't know how I'd improve it, other than the stitching color if my car was other than SRC. They don't seem to offer anything but red stitching. I might not have chosen the red centerline marker, but it's growing on me. I'm very pleased overall.
