AUTOEXE Lower Arm Bar (Rear) for Mazda RX8 (Series 1 & 2, 2003-2012) AUTOEXE Lower Arm Bar (Rear) for Mazda RX8 (Series 1 & 2, 2003-2012)

The rear lower arm bar is very nice and strong. There are 4 pieces two triangular bars for the subframe and two smaller bars that strengthen the rear arm. Overall I'm very happy with the bars. The quality of the autoexe bars are excellant and the packaging and handling of the bars are superb. I found my turn in using the autoexe bar was more responsive then my old Cusco lower arm. As well my rear is more stable when exiting out of corners. The best part about these bars is probably the front member brace and the triangualar rear brace that strengthen up the chassis. Because with my current suspension setup to the max and without my roll cage installed yet, my cars chassis is flexing from the pressure and stress buildup that I put on it at the track. For the price I'm very satisfied. Even though the price isn't cheap and in some cases you can buy a car, but the bars are definatley worth the money.

GREDDY TRUST Large Capacity Oil Pan for Mazda RX8 (Series 1, 2003-2008) GREDDY TRUST Large Capacity Oil Pan for Mazda RX8 (Series 1, 2003-2008)

Just put my Greddy oil pan on this past week and switched from Royal Purple 5w20 to 5w30. On driving back & looking at my EGT's it is a good 30-40 degrees F cooler than before. Didn't think it would make much/if any difference, but it did. I'm pretty surprised, I guess the extra .5 Quart of oil and/or the aluminum design makes a bit of difference.

When a repair calls for RX8 genuine Mazda parts, you remove the guesswork entirely. No wondering whether the calibration is close enough. No questioning whether the connector will seat properly. Also, no doubt about whether the material will hold up to the same stresses the original was designed for.

Factory specification is factory specification. For a car as specific as the RX8, that distinction matters. Mazda Australia engineers these components to exact production tolerances. Furthermore, that precision is what you are buying when you choose genuine over pattern.

Why factory-correct matters for a rotary engine

The Renesis engine is a precision piece of engineering. It has tight tolerances and a sensitivity to anything outside its designed operating parameters. For example, sensors, solenoids and cooling components are calibrated for this specific application. A genuine Mazda RX8 MAF sensor reports airflow the way the ECU expects. Similarly, a genuine thermostat opens at the temperature the cooling strategy was built around. A rotary engine will let you know when something is outside spec. Therefore, choosing RX8 genuine Mazda parts rules that out entirely.

The same principle applies to mechanical and fastening hardware. For instance, OEM wheel nuts are threaded and finished to Mazda’s own standard. They seat correctly against the hub. As a result, they maintain the clamping load the engineers specified. Details like that compound across a complete car.

RX8 genuine Mazda parts commonly sourced

  • Genuine RX8 fuel pump components for fuel-system repair. Here, correct flow rate and pressure are non-negotiable for a healthy Renesis.
  • Mazda RX8 MAF sensor replacements ensure accurate mass air flow data. As a result, you avoid the lean running conditions that a rotary handles badly.
  • Genuine RX8 thermostat for cooling-system service. It opens at the correct temperature. Therefore, the engine stays within its intended thermal window.
  • Mazda RX8 intake solenoid components maintain the variable intake geometry. Because of this, the Renesis retains its distinctive powerband across the rev range.
  • RX8 OEM wheel nuts for wheel fitment. These match the original hardware in thread pitch, seat angle and finish.
  • RX8 Renesis short motor options for owners approaching an engine replacement. Moreover, each starts from a known factory baseline rather than an assembly of uncertain provenance.

New genuine parts versus used components of unknown history

A used OEM part may look correct and may even function correctly. However, its wear state, service history and remaining service life are unknowns you absorb into your car. In contrast, a new factory-genuine component arrives at zero hours. Its calibration and material integrity are intact. Furthermore, it is ready to perform exactly as designed from the moment it is fitted.

That is a meaningful difference for anything safety-related or central to engine management. In addition, it is worth noting that RX8 genuine Mazda parts are not unlimited in supply. As production ends, some become progressively harder to source.

Finally, for owners in Australia searching for Mazda RX8 OEM components, buying new now is simply sound forward planning. Browse the range above and confirm the correct part number for your specific repair before ordering, particularly where multiple related sensors or solenoids are fitted to the same system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are genuine Mazda OEM parts still available for the RX8?

Many genuine Mazda parts for the RX8 remain available new, though supply of some components does tighten over time as production runs end. Sourcing a new OEM part now is worth considering when an original component has worn or failed, rather than waiting until availability becomes uncertain.

What is the advantage of buying a new genuine Mazda part over a used one?

A new genuine part gives you a known starting point - correct factory calibration, full service life remaining, and no unknown wear or history. A used OEM part from a donor car may look identical but carries uncertainty about how it was treated, stored or why it was removed.

Do genuine Mazda OEM parts fit the RX8 without modification?

Yes. Genuine Mazda components are made to the original factory specification for the RX8, so fitment, calibration and material quality match the application exactly. This is particularly relevant for precision items such as sensors, cooling components and engine-management hardware where an incorrect fit creates problems.

Which RX8 parts are most commonly replaced with genuine Mazda OEM components?

Common genuine replacement items for the RX8 include fuel pump components, mass air flow (MAF) sensors, thermostats, intake solenoids, OEM wheel nuts and short motor assemblies. For any component where correct calibration or factory fitment directly affects engine or drivetrain reliability, genuine is the straightforward choice.

Is a genuine Mazda MAF sensor better than an aftermarket one for the RX8?

The RX8 engine-management system is calibrated around the factory MAF sensor's output characteristics. A genuine Mazda replacement restores that original calibration exactly, which matters for idle quality, throttle response and fuel mapping accuracy. Aftermarket alternatives vary in how closely they match the OEM signal.

Can I use genuine Mazda OEM parts on a modified RX8?

Yes, and for many functions it makes sense to do so even on a modified car. Components such as cooling parts, sensors and fasteners perform a specific role that benefits from factory accuracy regardless of what else has been changed. Genuine parts are a reliable foundation that supports further modifications cleanly.

How do I confirm I am ordering the correct genuine Mazda part for my RX8?

The RX8 was sold in Series 1 and Series 2 variants with differences in engine specification, sensors and ancillary components, so confirming your series and the specific part required before ordering is important. Where multiple related sensors or solenoids are fitted, identifying the exact failed component first avoids ordering the wrong item.
