I have recently, the sports one. It's a great clutch and value for money. I've only done about 1,000kms. I have installed it with the racing beat lightened flywheel
GENUINE MAZDA OEM Intake Solenoid for Mazda RX8 (Series 1 & 2, 2003-2012)
Happy 8's day people! For you series 2 owners, here's the easiest way I found to change these little suckers. RX8 Upgrades providing the genuine goods as always. Remove the air box/ CAI, remove throttle body and remove the top part of the UIM only, this will get you easy access to the solenoids. Now you could remove them from this point, but removing the oil filler neck along with the vacuum chamber the solenoids mount to makes it FAR easier to change them. This whole job can be done in an afternoon for a mechanically minded person. On reassemble, don't forget to place the vacuum reference back onto the bottom of the manifold (has a green check valve) otherwise no valve will work. Reassemble and enjoy. PN is KL01-18-741 for those chasing the part

Valenti is a Japanese lighting specialist known for combining distinctive visual design with quality LED construction. For RX8 owners, the range centres on smoked RX8 LED taillights as a direct replacement for the factory units.
As a result, they shift the car’s rear-end character toward something darker, more modern and unmistakably intentional. Whether your build is daily-driven or show-ready, the taillight choice is one of the most visible decisions you make.
The RX8’s rear styling is clean and recognisable. Because of that, a well-chosen taillight upgrade is genuinely impactful rather than merely cosmetic. Valenti’s smoked lens treatment replaces the standard clear or red presentation with a darker finish. For example, it suits blacked-out trims, deep exterior colours and understated builds.
Moreover, LED construction throughout means light output remains sharp. The sequential indicator sweep, where applicable, adds a dynamic element the original fitment cannot match.
Valenti offers more than one design direction. The best starting point is your intended exterior theme. A sequential smoked unit suits an owner who wants movement and drama in the indicator sweep. However, a Jewel Revo design suits the owner who prioritises depth and presence at standstill. Both directions share the same Valenti build quality and the same smoked RX8 LED taillight character.
For buyers sourcing these units in Australia, this collection is the dedicated place to review what is available. Therefore, check each individual product page for confirmed design, finish and fitment details before ordering.
Finally, consider how the chosen unit fits alongside your other exterior choices. Paint, wheels and front lighting all influence whether the rear reads as a finished, cohesive build or simply a changed part.
Fitment varies by individual product, so check each Valenti taillight listing carefully before ordering. The RX8 was updated between Series 1 and Series 2, and not all aftermarket rear-lighting options are designed to suit both generations.
A smoked finish uses a darkened lens that reduces the brightness of the housing when the lights are off, giving the rear of the car a more understated, blacked-out appearance. When lit, LED elements still project clearly through the tinted lens.
Valenti taillights are designed as a replacement for the factory units, but always confirm the wiring and connector details on the individual product page for the specific model you are considering before purchase.
Sequential designs feature an indicator that sweeps progressively across the lens rather than illuminating all at once, creating a more distinctive signalling effect. Revo-style and Jewel Revo options differ in their internal lens and reflector design, affecting the overall visual character of the unit when both lit and unlit. Check individual product pages for the specific design details of each option.
This depends on how dark the lens is and the output of the LED elements behind it. Review the product specifications on the individual listing and, if in doubt, check current Australian Design Rules requirements for rear lighting brightness and visibility with a qualified installer or your state's vehicle authority.
This varies by listing. Check the individual product page for each Valenti taillight option to confirm whether the price covers a pair or a single unit before adding to cart.
Smoked LED taillights work particularly well alongside other darkened or blacked-out exterior elements such as smoked headlights, dark wheels, or a factory-matched paint finish. The consistent tonal theme across the front and rear of the car produces a more deliberate, cohesive result than mixing light and dark trim pieces.
